Kallie Marion James was remembered for the warmth she showed to others, her love of animals and her ability to turn ordinary moments into cherished memories. Born June 15, 1995, in Tacoma, Washington, to Richard and Lori (Cook) James, Kallie died July 27, 2026, in Centralia at the age of 31.
From an early age, Kallie had an empathetic heart. She was known for reaching out to people who felt left out, while sharing a particularly close bond with her brother, Harrison. Her friendships were equally important, and she loved planning outings, taking selfies and making memories with her best friends.
Animals held a special place in Kallie’s heart. She adored her cats, Alice and Evee, fed birds and squirrels she affectionately called “Squirrely,” and developed a childhood fascination with frogs that earned her the neighborhood nickname “Frog Queen.”
She loved adventure, from Cannon Beach tide pools and Pacific waters to thrill rides, train trips and an Alaskan cruise with her mother in 2024. She also treasured holidays, especially Christmas and Halloween, and expressed her affection through generous gift-giving.
Kallie worked at Claire’s and as a housekeeper, building strong relationships through her kindness and friendliness. She was also known for her organization and beautiful smile.
She was baptized July 9, 2026, in the Chehalis River.
A viewing and celebration of life were scheduled for August 15 at Sticklin-Brown Funeral Chapel in Centralia.
Kallie leaves behind memories filled with compassion, laughter, adventure and love. She will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
